So God created human beingsin his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. I will praise You for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are thy works and that my soul knows right well. My substance was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret and curiously wrought in my mother’s womb. How precious also are Your thoughts toward me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand. Surely this doesn’t sound like a cosmic accident, does it? Far from it. You were fearfully and wonderfully made. And Your Maker became your Savior on the cross to rescue you from His wrath.

Imagine if a computer chip could be placed at the base of your brain and your thoughts captured. Now imagine if these thoughts were uploaded to the internet for everyone to see. Your spouse, your parents, your boss, your best friend. How embarrassing! Wouldn’t you just want to die? That’s because you know many of your thoughts are evil. Did you know God sees your sexual thoughts as adultery? One day, you’ll become part of the ultimate statistic: 10 out of 10 people die. Then you’ll give an account to God for all your deeds and your thought life. What should God, who is perfectly Holy, do with someone like you?

You cannot serve two masters. You will love one and hate the other. It is the same way with money and God. If you love money, then God will always be second place. The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Some have lusted after money and strayed from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. Judas betrayed our innocent Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for 30 pieces of silver and later committed suicide.  Christ told the rich young ruler to sell all that he had, give the money to the poor and follow Him and that way he’d have true riches. But the young man went away sad. What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul in hell?

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. His Word is a lamp to light your way. Meditate on it day and night.

Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me. There is no other name under heaven by which a man may be saved. This means that Islam is not the way to God. Buddhism is not the way to God. Hinduism is not the way to God. Neither is Mormonism or Taoism or any other ‘ism.’ Good deeds cannot save you. Your influence and talent cannot save you. Money cannot save you. Only the one true God can save you. You must turn from your sins and transfer the faith you have in yourself  – your own goodness – to Jesus Christ. At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Humble yourself at the foot of the cross before it’s too late.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. God is love and has shed His love in our hearts through the Holy Spirit. So who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

They’d tell us a baby girl’s size doesn’t determine her value. They’d tell us we missed out on an entire generation of teachers and doctors, fathers and mothers, maybe even presidents. They’d ask us why we played God as we destroyed their precious lives. Adolph Hitler would be proud of this great holocaust called abortion. The blood of these innocent babies is on the hands of our nation’s leaders as well as anyone who has voted in favor of these gruesome murders. Whatever is morally wrong cannot be politically correct. But even abortion, as ruthless an act as it is, is a sin that can be forgiven by God.

With the biggest holiday of the year just around the corner, the ‘Merry Christmas’ debate is heating up again. Some people think this holiday greeting will offend others. They don’t worry about ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’ in February. The word Christmas has ‘Christ’ in it and after 2000 years He’s still intimidating people. The same people who want to censor His name approve of using the very same name as a cuss word. That’s called blasphemy and Our Creator says He will punish anyone who uses His name like that. He sent His Only Son the first time as a gentle Lamb to die for your sins, but soon His Son is coming back as a furious Lion to devour His enemies. This Christmas, make sure you are not His enemy – turn from your sins and trust in what He did for you on the cross.

Shootings, rapes and brutal murders; earthquakes, hurricanes, disease and famine. If God is good, why does He allow this? Our fragile lives have always been in God’s hands. So even though it was man who chose to break God’s law in the beginning, God had a plan: He allowed evil and suffering so that when He would come visit the lost world Himself – in the body of Jesus Christ – He could feel the weight of sin, Personally. This world provided a dramatic way for the Father to pour out His wrath on the Son at the cross. That kind of love is truly out of this world. Consider the suffering of the innocent Son of God. The Sinless One bore God’s judgment, so you, the sinful one, could escape. If that doesn’t get your attention, nothing will!

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelled among us. That Word was Christ! To all who received Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! Christ came into the world to save sinners. All unbelievers, murderers, and liars shall have their part in the lake that burns with fire. To escape God’s wrath and have your sins forgiven, please repent and trust in the death, burial, and resurrection of our Savior, Lord, and God Jesus Christ.

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper. The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Godliness with contentment is great gain.

I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. The angels of God cried with a loud voice: Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory! And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of Him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. So I said: Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts. You might look good compared to others, but not compared to The Holy Creator. You’ll face Him on Judgment Day. Will you be ready? Only if you repent and trust in Christ the Savior.

Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to Me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food. Incline your ear, and come to Me; hear, that your soul may live; and I will make with you an everlasting covenant. Seek the LORD while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near; let the wicked repent and the unrighteous man stop thinking evil thoughts. Let Him return to the LORD, and the Lord will have compassion on Him, for He will abundantly pardon. He’ll forgive your sins and make you a new person.

Then God said, Let the waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind. So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that scurries and swarms in the water, and every sort of bird—each producing offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good. Then God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply. Let the fish fill the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth. And evening passed and morning came, marking the fifth day. Clearly, God made birds first. So God made chickens before He made chicken eggs. And that same God made something more amazing than birds. He made you in His image, for one reason: to bring Him glory!

Only a Christian has living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled that doesn’t fade away, reserved in heaven. They are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation. In this they greatly rejoice, though now they have been grieved by various trials. This is so that the genuineness of their faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ. They’ve never seen Him yet they love Him. And even though they don’t see Him now, they still believe and rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory receiving the end of their faith–the salvation of their souls.

As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. Whoever the Son sets free is free indeed. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. If you want true freedom, repent and believe this good news.

Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken Him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall. God’s wrath will be poured out like a relentless torrent on Judgment Day. Is your life built on Christ the Solid Rock who gave Himself for you on the cross or on the sand of your own good deeds?

Then He Who sat on the throne said: Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me: Write, for these words are true and faithful. And He said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to Him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. So some will awake to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind. They knew the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, and not only did the same but also approved of those who practice them. Wicked, unforgiven people will not go to heaven. Look to the cross and be forgiven today.

For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Call on Him and He will answer.

Then God said, Let there be light, and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.” And evening passed and morning came, marking the first day. In Christ was life and He was the light of men. And the light shined in the darkness, but the darkness didn’t comprehend it. And this is the condemnation, that light has come into the world, but men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. But he who does the truth comes to the light. Turn from the darkness of your sins to the Light of the world, Jesus Christ, Who came to save sinners like you.

Christ made all things, whether they be in heaven or in earth, visible or invisible. He is before all things and He holds all things together. The earth is the LORD’S, and it’s fullness, the world and they who dwell in it. For He has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. Who shall ascend onto the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in His Holy Place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Christ went to the cross to die in your place. You were bought with a price; therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which both belong to God.

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Do not be deceived. God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows, that is what he will reap. For he that sows fleshly things, will reap corruption. But he who sows Spiritual things shall reap eternal life. Repent from your sins and be born again by the Spirit of God and you’ll inherit everlasting life.

You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’ But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. You have heard ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. What about you? According to Christ’s words, you’re a murderer and an adulterer if you’ve hated or lusted. Have you ever told a lie? All liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone. These sins – and all your sins – can be forgiven. Turn to Jesus, Who died on the cross for you.

Then Jesus opened His mouth and taught them, saying: Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Best of all, blessed is the one whose sins have been forgiven by God. Have your sins been forgiven?

Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. They said to Him, Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say? He said to them, He who is without sin among you, let Him throw a stone at her first. Then those who heard it, left one by one. Jesus said to her, Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you? She said, No one, Lord. And Jesus said to her, Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more. Obey the words of Christ today. Receive Him as Lord and Savior and go and sin no more!

So I said: Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts. Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said: Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged. By turning away from your sins and placing your trust in Christ who gave Himself for you on the cross, your sins can be forgiven and you can receive the gift of everlasting life. Otherwise, you’ll face an angry God on the Day of Judgment.

The wisdom of man is foolishness to God. A fool has said in his heart there is no God. They became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves. They exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Be wise and turn to Jesus Christ. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the Holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying: Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God Himself will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.

The Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God. This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin. So really, you should be afraid of the darkness of sin and run to the light of the cross!

No creature is hidden from God’s sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. Because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. But whoever repents and believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on Him.

The Lord is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving sins. God overlooked times of ignorance, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent, because He has fixed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom He has appointed (that man is the Lord Jesus Christ); and of this He has given assurance to all by raising Christ from the dead. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. To truly believe in your heart means that you will turn from your sins – the very sins that caused Christ to suffer such agony on the cross. Repent before God’s patience runs out.

It is appointed unto every man to die once, and after that comes the judgment. As for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable… as for murderers, the sexually immoral, the sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death. They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might. But Jesus was crushed for our sins; and by His stripes we are healed. Jesus was made a sin offering (yet He never sinned), so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. Repent and believe this Good News today.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. For there is one God, and there is one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all…He was buried…He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy. The gift of salvation is free to you, but remember, it cost Christ everything as His Father crushed Him on the cross. Repent and cry out to the Lord for mercy today. Tomorrow may be too late.

He was despised and rejected by men; a Man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and we hid our faces from Him. He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was crushed for our sins; upon Him was the punishment that brought us peace, and by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to our own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Turn from your sins to the suffering Savior today. He suffered so you could be saved from the judgment of God.

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to Your abundant mercy, blot out my sins. Wash me thoroughly from my wickedness, and cleanse me from my sin! My sin is ever before me. Against You, and You only, have I sinned and done what is evil in Your sight. Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my wickedness. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. Jesus Christ, Who never sinned, died for you. Ask Him to forgive you today. Blessed is the one whose sin is forgiven, who wickedness is taken away.

God will judge the world with righteousness. There is no one who does not sin. No not one. The works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, strife, jealousy…drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you…that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. He who breathes out lies will perish. The Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart. But the Lord is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression. In order to escape His judgment, you must turn from your sin and trust in what Christ did for you on the cross.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. No servant is greater than his Master. If they persecuted Jesus, they will certainly persecute His followers. All those who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is clearly seen by them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by all created beings, even His eternal power and absolute authority, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, neither were they thankful. 2000 years ago, the same God they sinned against crushed His perfect Son, that if they would repent and trust Him, they could be saved from His wrath.

Is God tolerant?

It depends on your definition of ‘tolerant.’ Or better yet, what is being tolerated. Most of us can put up with a lot, but the moment someone’s actions become illegal, the rules change. Try asking the police to be tolerant of your speeding or a judge to be tolerant of your DUI. Because God is Perfect, He cannot tolerate any sin - His goodness demands that all lawbreakers be brought to justice. And they will be sent to a lake of fire for eternity. But thankfully, God is extremely patient. He punished His Only Son on the Cross, so you could go free. Humble yourself and trust the Savior today! God won’t tolerate your pride forever.

The Bible says there are no good people – not even one. You might not appear to be so bad when you compare yourself with someone like Adolph Hitler, but you are very bad when you compare yourself with God’s standards. And you’ll end up in hell if He finds you guilty. Have you ever lied, been greedy or taken God’s Name in vain? You don’t even do that with Hitler’s name! God is the One who gave you life to live, family and friends to love, air to breathe, and food to eat. The same God who you treat so hatefully sent His only Son to die for you on the cross. That is the very good thing that happened to a very bad person like you. Repent today and trust the Savior!

If your answer is no, then you’ve just told another one. Over 70% of Americans admit to lying regularly, so is lying such a big deal? You can lie to your children and get away with it, right? But lying to your spouse could destroy your relationship. Lying to your boss could get you fired. And you could land in prison if you lie to the government. The penalty is stiffer as you move up the ladder. At the top of the ladder is God alone. You’ll give an account to Him for all sin, lies included. He even says liars will have their part in the lake of fire. Does that concern you? Then repent and trust in Jesus Christ, Who never lied (He never sinned at all). He took God’s wrath for you on the cross. And that is no lie.

Yes and no. No matter how much good you do, you can never undo all the bad you’ve already done. God sees every time you’ve lied. He sees your inappropriate sexual thoughts as adultery and your hatred as murder. As your Judge, He must punish you. But He is also patient and kind. He died on a cross for liars, adulterers and murderers like you (and me!). Jesus Christ took the punishment you deserved. Let that break your heart. When you repent and believe this great news, Christ’s Good Deeds will be credited to your bad account. By His mercy and goodness, you’ll go to heaven instead of hell.

Children are kidnapped and sexually abused. Women are beaten and raped. That is so unfair. In the past decade, roughly 100,000 murders went unsolved – those people got away…with murder. That’s not fair either. But do you know what’s even more unfair? That Jesus Christ, who never sinned, died on a cross for every lie, every lustful thought, every bit of gossip, every wicked deed you committed. God crushed His Perfect Son, so a sinner like you could be saved from hell. You really don’t want what’s “fair.” You need God’s mercy. Turn from your sins to Christ the Savior today!

If you see a building, you know there is a builder. A painting requires a painter. In the same way, the creation demands a Creator. Only a fool would say there is no Creator. How could everything come from nothing? You also have a conscience. You know lying, stealing and murder are wrong. That’s because God has written His moral law on your heart. Did you realize He is so morally pure that He sees hatred as murder and lust as adultery? Because of the creation and your conscience, you know there is a God. But is this God kind or is He cruel? If you died today and met Him face to face, what would He say to you?
